Elizabeth Avedon
Independent Curator; Photography Consultant
Elizabeth Avedon is the former Director of Photo-Eye Gallery, Santa Fe; Creative Director for Ralph Lauren Media and The Gere Foundation. She has received recognition for her exhibition design and publishing projects, including Richard Avedon’s “In the American West” for the Amon Carter Museum, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and Art Institute of Chicago; and exhibitions for the Estate of Diane Arbus, the Menil Collection and the Leica Gallery,NY.Elizabeth is a contributor to The Eye of Photography. She received the 2017 “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Griffin Museum of Photography.
Julie Grahame
Editor, aCurator
Julie Grahame was born in London, England, but moved to New York last century at a tender age to manage an international photo agency. Since then, she has licensed thousands of images, reviewed hundreds of portfolios, sold untold prints, judged dozens of competitions and published a handful of websites, including her pride and joy, full screen magazine and blog aCurator. Grahame is also a photographer consultant, and represents the estate of Yousuf Karsh.
Ann M. Jastrab
Executive Director, Center for Photographic Art
Ann has curated many shows in the Bay Area while simultaneously jurying, curating, and organizing numerous exhibitions for national and international venues outside of San Francisco. She has reviewed portfolios for a multitude of organizations in the United States and internationally. Ann was the gallery director at RayKo Photo Center in San Francisco for 10 years.
David Garnick
Founder and Editor, Bokeh Bokeh Photo
David produces, directs, and judges international photography competitions. He lectures on photography and is a portfolio reviewer. He founded and edits the online photography magazine Bokeh Bokeh Photo, and founded and co-directs the San Francisco Bay Month of Photography. His fine art photography is held in public, corporate, and private collections.
Peter Miller
Co-Director, San Francisco Bay Month of Photography
Peter Miller is an international award winning art director and photograper. He has worked for major imaging companies, including Agfa-Gevaert, Polaroid, and Kodak, promoting their international brands. Before moving to the Bay Area, Miller produced and curated exhibits at his gallery in Providence, Rhode Island, and founded the Providence Center for Photographic Arts. He brings his deep understanding of the art of photography and his extensive production experience to the growth of the San Francisco Bay Month of Photography.
