Monday September 16, 2019
9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Immortalized by writers, filmmakers and musicians, the cover of Rolling Stone magazine has embodied generations of popular culture. For artists, the cover is a coveted career achievement and for many readers, it represents a fantasy realm of the rock ’n’ roll lifestyle. This exhibit explores the early years of Rolling Stone, from 1967 to 1970. Featured artists are Jimi Hendrix, Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Frank Zappa and others.

On exhibit in the Jewett Gallery in the library.
