Marine Photography Workshop with Brian Skerry
September, 2019
If you’re a photography enthusiast, you won’t want to miss this opportunity to improve your camera skills with award-winning photographer and 2017 Rolex National Geographic Explorer of the Year, Brian Skerry. His evocative marine images have appeared in 24 National Geographic stories, and are featured in the David Brower Center’s exhibition, Art/Act: Brian Skerry – SHARKS.

You and a small group will learn from a true master of photography, the techniques — composition, shutter speeds, apertures, and more — that are the building blocks to creating captivating underwater images. You’ll also learn all that goes into creating compelling narratives with your photos. Requirements: an understanding of the basic fundamentals of photography, and an interest in underwater and marine photography. Participants must bring their own cameras and be 16 years or older.
